NEW CORK HURLING manager Kieran Kingston has recalled Cian McCarthy, Conor O’Sullivan, William Egan and Paul Haughney to his first provisional panel.
The four were not involved with the Rebels during Jimmy Barry-Murphy’s final year in charge but will join up with the rest of the 33-man squad for a number of training sessions before Christmas.
McCarthy, son of Cork legend Teddy, and O’Sullivan are back after quitting the panel earlier this year while Egan returns after turning down an invitation from JBM to link up with the squad altogether.
Aidan Walsh and Damien Cahalane are included having committed to hurling this year while Eoin Cadogan won’t be joining brother Alan in the squad having decided to focus his attention on football for the upcoming season.
